Browsers chrome, firefox, safari and IE are hanging on windows 7(64 bit), especially when viewing flash content. Well dont ask me why I have four browsers installed, my work needs it. The browser stops responding, and then windows prompts a message saying, do you want to kill the process or wait. Hitting wait does not revive the browser, once it hangs, it just does not revive back. I also noticed the same problem when viewing pdf with foxit plugin on the browsers.

I am working on an inhouse simulator (for my love of physics), and it sparked a though in me, why are our constants complex.
Well Newton knew that two bodies atrracted each other with a force that was proportional to their masses and inversely proportional to the distance between them.
So F(G) ~ M1xM2/(R^2)
or F(G) = GxM1xM2/(R^2) where G is 6.67259 x 10-11 N * m2 / kg2.
The idea is simple, put G=1, and change the way we measure weight and distance.
Or in E=mc2, put the value of c =1, and start changing the way we measure distance and time.

We just cleaned up our network layout, and put in a new reduntant server (not shown in the diagram), because the redundand server needs to be manually connected to bring it up.
The server runs ubuntu, with squid for proxy server, samba for file server, and it also doubles as a login server for other linux machines.
The wireless switch/router is placed behind the server, so even it goes through the squid proxy.
A major advantage of using ubuntu for our workstations, we have not experienced even one breakdown. (no virus too).

The camera on the HTC Hero is a pain point on the otherwise great phone. The camera works good on well lit conditions, but on indoor lighting and cloudy conditions the photos turn out too darker, as if you have put on sun glasses for the HTC Hero.
There were threads on mobile forums, saying the fix would arrive in subsequent updates. The update might come around post xmas time frame.

I happened to see an intuitive game on Android market, in the quest to solve it, I wanted a simpler version of the game, so ended up spending an hour to code it with jquery.
And after playing it, and showing it to the team and friends, I received a few suggestions to put it on the site, so jinxed up a page, with scores and comments.
Its a hard puzzle, could not come up with a standard logic to solve it.

After writing and testing apps on the simulator, it was a absolutely thrilling to see it work on an actual android device.
Got the HTC hero, its absolutely amazing, I am not sure of how the other high end models on win mobile works, but this one is amazing. Got a lot of sensors.
The only unhappy thing about the HTC hero is the camera, will have to see later, if the camera can be corrected with an app. The exposure is pretty bad for a 5MP camera.
